Functional Strength
Abi focuses on building strength that carries into real life. Her programs use progressive training, movement quality, and practical exercise selection rather than relying on complicated equipment or unnecessary variety.

7 Years Coaching
Abi brings more than seven years of coaching experience, combining personal training, functional strength, sports massage, and a practical understanding of how to help clients build confidence, consistency, and capability over time. Her background also makes her particularly comfortable working with women across different training histories, lifestyles, and experience levels.
Abi has been coaching professionally since 2019, with a background spanning personal training, functional strength, small-group coaching, physical education, and sports massage.
Sport has always been part of her life, but an Achilles injury changed the way she thought about training. Being unable to play the sport she loved forced her to slow down, understand movement differently, and work through a structured return to activity. She became fascinated by the process of problem-solving, rebuilding capacity, and learning what the body needed rather than simply pushing harder.
That experience helped shape her career change into coaching.
Today, Abi’s approach is structured, progressive, and highly individual. She wants clients to build strength and confidence, understand what their body is capable of, and stop feeling like progress has to look perfect to count.
Abi focuses on building strength that carries into real life. Her programs use progressive training, movement quality, and practical exercise selection rather than relying on complicated equipment or unnecessary variety.
Her own experience with injury strongly influenced the way she approaches movement and progression. Abi works with clients who need a more considered return to training, helping them rebuild confidence and capacity within the appropriate coaching scope.
With a lifelong background in sport and her own interest in hybrid and CrossFit-style training, Abi enjoys helping clients become stronger, fitter, and more capable across multiple physical qualities.
Abi has extensive experience coaching women across different life stages and fitness backgrounds. Her approach centers on meeting the person where they are, understanding their current capacity, and building from there rather than forcing a generic program.
Abi describes her coaching as structured and method-driven, with a clear focus on progression and measurable improvement.
She balances that structure with a practical, real-life approach. Training should work around the person, not force the person to organize their entire life around training.
Her check-ins typically include a more formal weekly review through video feedback or the app, alongside additional contact during the week where needed. The focus is on keeping momentum, building habits, and finding practical strategies that fit the individual.
A big part of Abi’s coaching is trust.
She wants clients to trust the process, trust her guidance, and eventually trust themselves enough to attempt things they previously doubted they could do.
“My job is to help clients trust the process, trust themselves, and do things they never thought they could do.”

From chasing perfection to learning to trust the process
Abi talks about growing up surrounded by sport, finding community through it, and how an Achilles injury changed her relationship with training.
Being forced to step away from the sport she loved introduced her to the slower process of rebuilding, problem-solving, and understanding movement more deeply.
That experience ultimately helped shape her career change into coaching.
For Abi, the most rewarding part now is watching someone stop doubting themselves and realize they are capable of more than they thought.
